What is 911SimPro?
911SimPro is a telecommunicator training simulation environment powered by SimSoft 1.0. It connects simulated call-taking, CAD, mapping, radio dispatch, role-player, administration, and instructor-review workflows.
Is 911SimPro a live 911 or CAD system?
No. It is a training simulator and should not be used for live emergency communications, dispatch, or operational record keeping.
Which roles can participate in a scenario?
The current environment supports call-taker/dispatcher stations, caller role players, radio or first-responder role players, administrators, and instructors.
Can trainees focus on call-taking or dispatch separately?
Yes. The call-taker/dispatcher station supports call-taking, dispatch, and dual-role modes so the visible tools can match the exercise objective.
Does the simulator include Text-to-911?
Yes. A caller role player can start a simulated Text-to-911 session, and the trainee can answer, exchange messages, and attach the transcript to the incident report.
Can scenarios use video or drone media?
Yes. Instructors can configure prerecorded Video-to-911 or drone-assisted scenario clips for role players to send to the trainee during an exercise.
Can the system use local protocols?
The simulator supports configurable training templates, prompts, and structured responses. Included starter material is for local training use and is not presented as a national protocol standard.
What information is available for instructor review?
Reports can include call-taking notes, responder notes, action timelines, assigned units, timing information, protocol responses, required-question completion, disposition fields, and instructor notes.
